Venice

I've been MIA on here for over a year a while, for a plethora of reasons. In any case, I finally got around to editing photos I took last spring and summer, so I'll slowly be putting them up on here.

First, I wanted to upload some photos from Venice last April. I had always dreamed of going to Venice, for the same reasons that anyone does (canals? little bridges? Italian food? yes please). I was also wary of going to Venice, for the same reasons that anyone is (expensive? tourist trap? expen$$$ive?). Luckily, the latter turned out not to be true, whether because of the time of year or perhaps because people were avoiding Venice for these exact reasons.

Anyway, I can safely say that Venice is one of the most magical places I have ever visited. To call it touristy is to underline an obvious conclusion for any place that is as beautiful, as photogenic, and as unique a place as a city built on water. I don't want to belabor the point, so I'll just dump my photos here now.

Prague

(Quick life update to explain why I haven't posted in forever: I've just been super busy. I'm living in Paris now, working on getting my Masters degree. But I think I'll save all the Life Stuff for another entry, some time in the future. In the meantime, feel free to follow me on Instagram, which is probably what I use the most lately.)

Here are pictures I took when I was in Prague a little over a month ago. Truly one of the most charming, magical cities I've ever had the opportunity to visit.

Millions March NYC

2014 has been a very rough year, given the injustices that took place against Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, and so many other black boys, girls, men, and women. I took some photos while I was in the Millions March at NYC on December 13, 2014.

Rest in peace to every single person who has fallen due to violence, brutality, and abuse at the hands of institutionalized, systemic, white-privileged, racist aggression.
